Ronald Egalka Silver City is a nice, smallish, arts oriented city. The Silver City Museum on Broadway is a good take depicting the citys interesting history. The Gila Cliff Dwellings are a must see even with the challenging 40-mile, two hour drive.

Kendra Phillips City of rocks SP is cool. A trip to the Gila cliff dwellings (1.5 hour twisty mountain drive) is worth the effort. I loved the artsy/historic vibe of Silver City.
