Nightly Rate: $50 USD
We arrived about 1:00 pm and parked at the end of a cul-de-sac on Kay Ave. Because we did not see the office. We found the office sign and no one was there. We called the phone number on the door and...

Stayed here overnight while traveling West. The campground is behind a hotel, and the campground office is in the hotel building, but often unmanned. Many permanent residents here in dilapidated rigs....

Tips from campers about Rondee's Campground
- JohnTh Unfortunately the BBQ restaurant in Sabine Pass appears to be defunct, so choices for dining out are limited. As are groceries. And no gas. Bring what you need, and if you are unfortunate enough to have AT&T, go without internet during your stay. That said, it is a wonderful place to stay - the beach is right there, and there is a really cool boardwalk through mudflats/saltmarsh, which is excellent for birding. It is very close to Sabine Woods and McFaddin NWR.9 hours ago Sea Rim State Park
- RVL332494 About 1/4 mile south from the park entrance their is a very short board walk over a fresh water marsh. We saw a gator mama with two babes on her back! Further to the south there is a national wildlife area that you can drive around. First two miles paved. Next two miles were gravel. Good bird viewing and saw two barges comes past.2 months ago Sea Rim State Park

“Great stop over for the Corn Palace”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
We stayed in site 26 in our 45' motorhome. This site was dirt and long enough to stay connected for our stop over although is was a little hard to get level. The roads in the park are easy to navigate...

I really liked staying here. I had a great site with plenty of space away from my neighbors. I feel like this is a little known gem of a park. We camped at Rondee's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

“Great stop for the night along I-90”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
I also don't understand the negative reviews. You don't rate a no-frills place in a rural area the same way you would a RV resort, people. Apples to apples, please! This place was a perfect stop for...

Tip for Other Campers:
Cattlemen's Club Steakhouse was good, with reasonable prices and VERY friendly staff. Family owned and run, we were escorted to our seat by a young gentleman of 10 years. We've been to the corn palace on a previous trip, we thought it was fun and worth it.
