“Big lots great views, worth the stay!”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
All the basics are covered here, big lots and wonderful views. About 6 miles to town but a great community. We camped at LaVista RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Blue Waters Natural Foods well stocked just down the road from campground. Artsy town of Marfa nearby. Big Bend National Park 98 miles. Get gas before you go.
Tips from campers about LaVista RV Park
- Rory_720 Swan lake costs $5 to park at. Also, being from Colorado we weren't aware of the strict boating policy. Apparently you have to get paddleboards inspected as well as a permit to use them. There isn't anywhere close to do this so make sure you stop if you see an inspection area. All in all, we haven't gotten to enjoy and of Montana's lakes yet. Lots of area around this lake is owned so you can't walk around it.10 months ago Swan Lake Trading Post Campground

- themayerfam It had a cute diner/country store. There is a little pond at campsite. Swan Lake is nearby for fishing. There are new owners and they plan on updating the dirt to gravel. They just took over about a month ago. We were just passing through.7 years ago Swan Lake Trading Post Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Grocery store in Alpine is the biggest one in about 100 mi radius. If you are passing through, get groceries.
“Wonderful park!”
Nightly Rate: $29 USD
Clean facilities, great host, this is a campground, not a resort, so no frills, but very clean and well-kept. Wide gravel sites are reaonably level, beautiful nite-time sky. Great place for a...

Has the essentials. Essentially no staff on premises. All services worked well. Would recommend as a stopover. We camped at LaVista RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
