“Under construction - LOUD!”
Nightly Rate: $44 USD
This place is RIGHT off the interstate & is LOUD - day & night. Then there is the construction in the park. LOTS of construction. I think they were spreading rock with cow urine in it - it was awful!...

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Cadillac Ranch just down the street. Then drive east on I-40 to Slug Buggy Ranch on the left - mid-way through Amarillo. We wanted to go to the Vintage Camper Museum south of town but it is only open Thursday - Saturday.
“Inconsiderate Management”
Nightly Rate: $46 USD
We booked this park several months in advance, and requested a quiet spot. The park called us 2 days before arrival, requesting payment in full for our 4 night stay. That would have been the perfect...

- Stevan Smith Best pizza - Fat Cat PizzaBest dining - The Black Trumpet BistroBest beer and a bite - Fat Irish PubBest burger - The Hungry ClamMcKays is a small employee owned grocery store nearby. Wonderful people and they carry items the bigger grocery stores dont have. Its a little more expensive, but less chaotic than the others.3 months ago Driftwood RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to visit the Cadillac Ranch. Buy your own spray paint in advance. Dyers BBQ was also a great place for dinner. The potions are generous. I got a light plate and it was plenty for me.

We spent one night at the park while traveling. Unfortunately, it had rained a lot the day/night before and there was standing water and mud around our site. We had all the utilities and did not have...

“Good location; small; not many amenities ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
The RV park is pretty small, mostly gravel and a small grass spot in back. They do have a dog park near the office. We camped at Route 66 RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Close to most attractions, restaurants and stores. They are doing construction on one side of the exit so there is about a 6 minute detour but we were able to find a back road.
