Dry lake so no fishing unfortunately. Dam side sites are away from the atv

Tip for Other Campers:
There is a Walmart 30 miles away up Highway 70 to the north in Pampa Texas. Good size town. Plenty of shopping. AT&T store and Verizon store. I picked up in AT&T Netgear nighthawk hotspot because my Verizon phone gets no signal. AT&T is working very well, very fast.
Tips from campers about McDowell Campground
- BB-sailor You can get into Arches National Park before 6am and after 5pm without a reservation. Canyonlands are a must see as well. Eat at the Broken Oar - excellent brisket sandwich!3 years ago HTR Moab Lodge & Cottages
- Bexd928 Mediterranean grill in Moab is very good. The River drive along hwy 128 is spectacular. There is a winery near the end of the drive that has tastings. Dead horse pointe state park is so much better than Canyonlands for scenery.4 years ago HTR Moab Lodge & Cottages
