“Open, not much shade”
Nightly Rate: $58 USD
Nice clean Park, gass with graveled level site, a little pricey though! We camped at Panhandle Lodging in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to eat at Feldman's Wrong Way Cafe. The Chicken fried steak was excellent.
The Panhandle Plains Historical Museum is large and very informative.
Palo Duro Canyon is beautiful.

- Bluesbirdy The Lighthouse trail in Palo Duro State Park is worth the hike. Visit Caprock Canyon State Park to see buffalo's (and encounter them in a wash during a hike). Close by city of Canyon has all your shopping needs.2 years ago Panhandle Lodging

Clean, pretty convenient to the highway. Didn't use any of the facilities. \ We camped at Panhandle Lodging in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Make sure you go to Palo Duro Canyon. It's pretty awesome. Skip the gift shop at the 2nd Amendment Cowboy. Definitely buy some spray paint and head for Cadillac Ranch. Also, stop at the Slug Bug Ranch before you head into Amarillo. We hadn't realized it was so far back, far enough we didn't want to double back or head out to it the next day.
