“basic campground w/e You will need to call the marina before you arrive for availability. ”
Nightly Rate: $18 USD
Our rate was $18 a night but they also charged us $5 per person for use fees (I Guess). Lady at the marina was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Kincaid Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this campsite as an overnight during our cross-country trip. All sites are first-come, first-served however in January we didn't have any trouble getting a site, in fact we were the only ones...

Tip for Other Campers:
Contrary to another review below, both Sandy Beach and Kincaid are open, however in the winter when the marina is closed, one has to go to the Greenbelt Water Filter Plant which is close by to sign in. This facility is mentioned on the webpage. Also use the phone number for the Filter Plant for information on the campsites since the other number listed is...

- RRKaren The guided hike was very informative regarding the history of the park, the Native people who lived here, and the petroglyphs they left behind - I highly recommend! It was very interesting to watch the rock climbers with their huge pads to fall upon! This state park attracts a lot of climbers due to the natural hand holds in the mountains. The state park limits the number of people in the park, which is good.
- David & Pamela Take advantage of the areas that you have general access to and if you have time, get a Ranger Guided Tour in the other areas (2.5hrs). Be aware that this is a climbing destination so there are LOTS of climbers carrying bouldering mats/crash pads up to the base of the rock they intend to climb. The park limits the visitation to 70hds at any one time and they regulate that headcount at the main gate. We hiked most of the trails in the north section and never felt crowded. Lots of rabbits around the campground and yes, we did hear the howl of some coyotes around dusk.3 weeks ago Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site
- Hopefultraveler The rock formations and pictographs in this park are amazing! They limit the number of people who can enter each day, so check out hiking permits and guided hikes prior to arriving. It is a very popular bouldering park.1 month ago Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site

Info is sketchy about this campground, not sure who owns it but is good for overnight stay. At Greenbelt Reservoir, check in at Marina office. $28 includes $5 per person park entrance fee. Drive into...

Rate reflects $12 per night camping fee, plus $5 per day per person over 15 (to spend one night, you must pay two days' entry permit fees). This seems excessive to us for what you get. From US 287:...
