Tip for Other Campers:
No markings on where to park at check in so need to turn left and parallel park at entrance building. It's best to unhook towed at entrance so entry to the site can take into account backing up for pull through sites.

There are a number of nice wineries in the area (and we tried to hit them all). San Antonio is a drive but the river walk and Alamo were worth it.

Visit Boerne and do a day trip up to visit the National Museum of the Pacific Wars in Fredericksburg. Neat downtown, lots of restaurants. We also went to the big flea market held specific dates outside Fredericksburg- that was fun but a lot of walking!
