  redriver Four Corners BBQ (good) is a mile down the street at I-10. Houston Space Flight Center is about 15 miles away. Between San Antonio and Houston, there is major rebuilding & widening of I-10, many construction areas and delays, a tough drive and will continue for several years. Construction continues into Louisiana (for you west bounders) but is a little less trying.

  Cloudwlkr Foodland is just up the street and very reasonable for groceries. We did enjoy the Anahuac Wildlife Refuge a couple of days with lots of birds and alligators. Galveston is about an hour and Kemah is 45 minutes. We didn't do the Space Center as we have done it before. Not much for bike trails in the region.
