“Nice city campground if you want to be close to the flea market and local things”

First of all I would not recommend you drive your RV in on a weekend, the traffic coming into Traders Village is terrible and the drivers insane. Once in it was a nice enough RV park for a few days....

- Judi and John Although this is Texas, the terrain near the park is extremely hilly and often quite steep. We encountered one 10% grade on the way in. No staff were apparent at arrival, although a park person did drive through the campground on one day. Reserve in advance but it's self-serve when you arrive. This wasn't a big problem. - rnorth2727 You access the park from City Park Road. The first mile of this road is very steep; you are climbing to the top of a ridge and then most of the remaining road is along the top of the ridge. You need to be prepared to use a lot of power if you're pulling a heavy trailer or toad. Also bad when descending the last mile when leaving the park. Several restaurants within 2 miles and the flea market is on the weekends. Grocery is about 2 or 3 miles or so away
