There is a winery a few miles south on FM 56, there are a couple of gas stations and convenience stores not as far south on FM 56 in Lakeside Village. Kopperl is just a few miles further north on FM 56 and likely has more conveniences. (We have never been to Kopperl.) Tips from campers about Plowman Creek Park
- Bob Hahn The town of Haines is quite cute and reminds me of the New England area. Skagway is a complete waste of time. Nothing but thousands of tourists getting off the boat and shops you would see at every port in the Caribbean. Juneau is also very touristy with tons of diamond shops.
