“Great Spot in Monument Valley”
Nightly Rate: $110 USD
Views! This park is in the valley and has incredible scenery. As a newish KOA, all the amenities are still coming on line. But, what is already set up is immaculately clean and well done. The park was...

The owner of the KOA also has a Jeep rental business onsite. Super easy. If you are planning on driving the Monument Valley loop, Valley of the Gods, or the Moki Dugway, consider renting a jeep and saving your tow vehicle the wear-and-tear.

Tips from campers about Monument Valley KOA Journey
- Dennis Hosang We had one bar of Verizon cell phone service. No wireless internet. The price we paid is for prime time and this wasn’t prime time. Ur pool wasn’t open, at this price u would expect internet or cable and nothing. Great location.4 years ago Steamboat Park Campground
- TEK Do not use google map as it will lead you to the wrong side of the river. Plug in 825 Taylor St., Jenison, MI5 years ago Steamboat Park Campground
- Michael_EE The campground is also the home of a riverboat, which looked like it could have been fun but was laid up for winter. The driveway to the park entrance is long, winding and not well lit - don't drive into the river! This campground is minutes away from food, fuel and entertainment. Multiple large RV dealers are just a little further away. Easy access to downtown Grand Rapids.5 months ago Steamboat Park Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Horse ride tours next to KOA, can rent Jeeps also at KOA. Decent steak restaurant in Mexican Hat. Things to see: Mexican Hat rock, Gooseneck, Natural Bridge, Monument Valley and Valey of the Gods be sure you have a good clearance vehicle or 4x4 as these roads are very rough.

Question:
Is this KOA also restrictive to some large breed dogs, i.e. Shepards, Doberman, and a couple of others? It's the main reason we can't go to any KOA's....
