Tips from campers about Monument Valley TiPi Village
- Miles and Smiles Local lobster is very expensive. Take a drive to the more remote Schoodic peninsula (a non-contiguous portion of Acadia National Park) for gorgeous views, much lighter crowds, and better restaurant prices.3 years ago Narrows Too Camping Resort

- John-1977 The traffic light at the entrance/exit of the campground was its best feature considering the crazy traffic on Rt 3. Worth every penny in aggravation avoidance. Get your reservations for driving Cadillac Mountain exactly at 10AM two days before you wish to go or you are not going. Tip for Other Campers:
If you are planning on purchasing any type of alcoholic beverage in Kayenta, Monument Valley, or Mexican Hat, you can't. All are on the Navajo Nation, which is a "dry" area! Definitely take the 17-mile loop road either with your own vehicle or one of the many tour companies around.
