We viewed the website weeks and then days in advance and it seemed that there were plenty of sites available. However, I didnt put in the specifications of our unit. Most of their sites are SMALL....

Tip for Other Campers:
Busy place with beautiful views. I wouldnt want to come in the peak time as it gets very crowded. Parking is almost non existent and you pay dearly if you do find a spot. They do have shuttles that run constantly during peak season. The old tunnel was very cool. We ate at Jacks Sports Bar - best pulled pork ever! We could park there for free for two hours...

Zion is wonderful. Watchman is okay. Don't make the same mistake I made and pick other than B18 if you have a choice. Road my EMTB all through the Zion park from the campsite, which I think is the...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you come in from Hurricane you don't have to pay to go through the tunnel on the East side Hwy 89. If your a mountain biker, try out Hurricane Rim on the way in. Pretty sweet riding with amazing vistas. You can dry camp off sheep bridge road if you can get a close in spot.
Tips from campers about Zion Canyon Campground and RV Resort
- eroyceus The Canyon is well described elsewhere. Not open to private vehicles while the Shuttle is running. Book the shuttle the day before at 9am (all tickets go online for sale at that time for the next day). Save money if you're touring at several NPS by buying an annual pass. It's worth driving on route 9 through the tunnel to the east side as long as you have a smallish RV. You get a different viewpoint than in the Canyon itself: red rocks and much drier. We're older and with dodgy knees so we liked the Emerald Pools trail (either from the Lodge or the Grotto). We also liked riding our e-bikes all the way into the Canyon. It's a great way to go and you're not dependent on the Shuttle.5 years ago Zion Canyon Campground and RV Resort
- rockymountainRVer Go very early into to ZNP, especially if you will be hiking the Narrows. The first ZNP bus leaves at 6:30 am. Know that the Springdale bus does not take passengers back towards town from the ZNP visitor center until after 1:30 pm. The bus line found passengers would get on the bus on the inbound side and ride it back around to the outbound side to get to ZNP, creating an always full bus. None the less, those buses are usually full until noon. Thus the reason we selected Zion Campground and RV park. Try the Whiptail Grill at the top of the RV park street, good food. Stock up your food items in your RV before arriving at Springdale. The grocery stores have a captive market and prices are exorbitant, inflation or not (half gallon of milk $6.89). Stop at the Walmart in Hurricane before traveling on to Springdale.3 years ago Zion Canyon Campground and RV Resort
- AZ Aurora We rode our ebikes from the campground to the Parus trail and into the park. It was close and easily accessible! We went early (8am) and it was nice and cool and shady almost the entire way! We ate at the Spotted Dog Cafe across the streetfood and service were terrific, but its a little more high end than your usual cafe. Also had breakfast at Memes down the street where they have AMAZING crepes!2 years ago Zion Canyon Campground and RV Resort

This was our second time to this campground. It is within walking distance of Zion Park, and the town of Springdale. Which makes it highly desirable and well worth the stay. We had site D24, the only...

Clean and well maintained. Great staff. Tons of kids roaming around and having fun. The stalls are close, they definitely use every square foot possible for stalls. That being said, I would stay here...

The park was clean and the service was excellent. We stayed in A8 which is a pull through site, but its not long enough to leave the tow vehicle attached. Campground roads have sharp turns, and are...
