Site 60, full hook-up, W/S/E. Large gravel pull-through site, about 60 feet long and 15 feet wide and good site spacing. Nice grass area between sites with picnic table and fire ring. Water pressure...

“Beautiful campground”

The campsite is so nice and in such a beautiful setting. The people here are so friendly and helpful. We have stayed here twice and love the area. We camped at Smoke Rise Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about Smoke Rise Campground
- KloSad While we were here, we rented ebikes and explored the area. What a blast!! The owners have an agreement with ebike rental company, and had them delivered to the park for us and price was very reasonable and discounted for veterans. Highly recommend! The Voyageurs visitor centers were all closed, but being a water access park, Larrys taxi and tour service was awesome, also reasonable, and we were able to see Hoist Bay, Kettle Falls/hotel, Ellsworth Rock Garden and several bald eagles. We also explored the Ash River area and did some hikes there.5 years ago Rainy Lake RV
- RobtL We used Voyageurs Outfitters to do a full-day tour of the park (which is mostly water). Our guide, Tim, was awesome and we highly recommend him.7 months ago Rainy Lake RV
- TLBarker We were in site #1 that backed up to stagnate water with made the misquotes even worse. We will be back to this area, but will try a different location.10 months ago Rainy Lake RV

“Nice CG in the heart of VT”
Nightly Rate: $57 USD
Nice gated CG in the heart of VT. I would recommend that you get a pull through spot. The back in spots, back into the tree line and are not level., and they are very small. We have a 35 ft MH and...

“Great Campground for our Rally of 15 rigs.”
Nightly Rate: $55 USD
Very friendly, helpful staff made our experience perfect. Gravel for MH surrounded by grass. Fire pits at each, but we used a common bigger pit with gravel surrounding, which gave the 30 of us enough...

This was choice resulting from other campgrounds that I preferred in planning trip not available for dates I desired. However, this was a great find! We stayed 4 nights in site #40. All sites look to...

Tip for Other Campers:
- Fort Ticonderoga is a great site to visit especially if you enjoy American History. The location is beautiful and the visit includes a trip up (drive) to Mt Defiance. Take the ferry from VT (Larrabees Point), which is a cable guide 7-8 min ferry ride with car (holds up to 18 cars).- Shelburne museum is north on Rte7 on way to Burlington, VT. Although...
