Pour country. Loved it. Good for hiking too. Goats on the land if you like farm animals. We camped at Green Mountain Family Campground in a Motorhome.

“Small spacious campground”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Spent the weekend with friends, great place. One couple used their small cabin, perfect for a couple and two young girls. Our other friend had a travel trailer delivered. The owner helped them set it...

- Bucket List Express We visited Bristol and Vergennes with our son. Both towns have great shops (shop local!). If you can get a reservation at Black Sheep in Vergennes, be sure to try the escargot! If you have never experienced a local co-op grocery store, try the Onion City Co-op in South Burlington. We were blown away at the diversity and quality of products.2 years ago Green Mountain Family Campground

“Nice affordable and great service ”

We stayed two nights. Spacious wooded sites with full hookups. We had a problem with our trailer and the manager (Gary) assisted promptly and politely. Some of the hookups are a bit dated but function...

“Tucked away in the Green Mountain national forest.”

Very plain campground. Surrounded by nice pine trees and shade. Sites were all quite different. No two sites seemed the same. Our site was full hookup over some grass. It was fairly level. There was...

Tip for Other Campers:
Downtown Bristol is a one street town. Very quaint with a few nice restaurants. Green Mountain forest provided the kids some nice hiking trails and we enjoyed that. Ben and Jerrys ice cream factory tour is about a 30 minute drive away. Make reservations if you go peak season. It was crowded. The ice cream graveyard was the most interesting.
