“Great primitive campground”

Clean. No cell service. Vault toilets. We camped at North River in a Travel Trailer.

“I ran into this by accident after taking a wrong turn leaving Elkhorn Lake”
This looks like a little gem of a campground nestled in the forest! I didnt stay here, but ran across it by accident! We visited North River, no overnight stay.
Tips from campers about North River
- Exploringourcompass The road isn't as bad as some of the tips and comments say. It's way less curvy than driving down any of the roads to the national parks and forest. Take your time and swing wide when needed. There are also a few signs as you go up the hill that let you know when to swing wide and that you're almost there! It's honestly not even that steep! We went up it fine in our dually and 42 foot 5th wheel. You'll do great!!2 years ago Campfire Lodgings
