Limited grocery shopping and diesel fuel in Damascus. Abingdon is a short distance to the west with better options if needing to re-supply.

Tip for Other Campers:
Lots of outfitters rent bikes and transport you to the top of the mountain for a gentle 17 mile down hill ride. Almost zero effort. If you are a biker, or E-biker, you can ride either direction from Damascus for a total of 34 miles.
