Limited grocery shopping and diesel fuel in Damascus. Abingdon is a short distance to the west with better options if needing to re-supply.

Very friendly hosts. Nice little gift shop in the office as well. Stayed here twice...one night each time as we traveled to and from Wisconsin. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Local road construction made access from I-24N a bit tricky. On our return (I-24S) the exit was open and looks to be open for northbound traffic now too.

Nice place in a convenient location for our travel route. Only stayed one night but it was quiet and pleasant. We camped at Starved Rock Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Railroad runs next to park. I love trains so the couple that passed by were more than welcome. Didn't hear any overnight.
