“Awesome owner/host and nice place to stay for the Creeper Trail”
Nightly Rate: $59 USD
We visited a weekend to ride the Creeper Trail with kids. Caught a shuttle to the top from one of the many companies in town and rode back down. The campground is right on the trail and an easy ride...

Tips from campers about Laurel Creek RV Park
- Josh Perkey One lane bridge but our 30 footer fit no problem. Wouldnt try it will anything longer.2 years ago Laurel Creek RV Park
- RonandShelia Damascus is a great little town. We used the shuttle service at the Dasmascus Adventures Outfitters (right next to trail - and across from one lane bridge) for trip to Whitetop (and shopped there). The ride down from the top was a little challenging (like a beginner mountain bike ride). All ages and experiences were riding Labor Day weekend. The ride from Damascus to Abingdon and back was great. The trail is crushed gravel, grass, and dirt. It's a beautiful area. Worth the trip. We ate lunch one day at the Damascus Diner and picked up sandwiches at the Coffee / Ice Cream Shop. Both were very good and not overpriced. We also ate at Jack's on 128 Pecan in Abingdon - before riding back to Damascus - great atmosphere and good food. We visited the Abingdon Vineyard (live music the evening we were there). There are churches of most denominations between Damascus and Abingdon.2 years ago Laurel Creek RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
If you are planning to spend time on your bike on the Virginia Creeper trail this RV park is ideal. It is located just on the border of Damascus. A short bike ride will get you to the Damascus Creeper Trailhead, or to the bike shuttles if you are heading toward White Top. There are some local restaurants within an easy bike ride (or car). We tried both the...
