  Rick Nader Lots to do in the area including Natural Bridge State Park and the historic town of Lexington. There's a nice winery/brewery on a hill right behind the campground which is well worth the visit if not for the adult beverages for the view alone.

  TomB2 Eat at the Pink Cadillac diner just down the road. The is a Camping World and Walmart not too far away. Lots to do in the area Safari park, National Park, rafting, etc. easily find things to do for three to four days or more. Wish we planned more time.

  Mark_Mulvaney_537 If you have time, take a drive thru the Virginia Safari Park just outside then campground, so much fun. The Shell station at the entrance can handle big rigs, we are 38 feet towing, no issues on the outside lane, gas only
