Tips from campers about Ames Lake, WA
- W1AST Shopping at the nearby Bass pro Shops and Patriots Place. Or catch a football game in season. You're 20 minutes from the Cape Cod Canal bike path, nearby malls and Boston and it's history. Food & Drink Stuff to Do3 years ago Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort
- Trip Planner We chose not to drive into Boston, taking the commuter train instead from the Mansfield Commuter Station (about 4.3 miles away). We heard that parking might be an issue so called an UBER to pick us up at the campsite. We later found that there were plenty of parking spots. (note: You have to pay for parking at a kiosk so make sure you remember your parking space number and license plate number so you don't have to run back to your car). We were able to pay for the train ride on board. The train took us straight to South Station in about 35 minutes and we were in walking distance to the visitor center, walking tours and trolley rides. The next day we drove to Plymouth, about a half hour from Normandy Farms and enjoyed another beautiful day touring the Mayflower II, plantation and eating lobster rolls on the dock.3 years ago Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort
- Tom Cornilliac They have an adults only rec room which is nice. They also have adults only hours for the indoor pool and hot tub.4 years ago Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort
