Walking distance to a mini market and Mexican food that is very good.
Poulsbo and Silverdale is less than 30 minutes away.
Always check to see if the hood canal is open if you are going that way (Washington DOT)

Port Ludlow bills itself as "Resort Living Year Round" and has golf and a marina nearby. Aside from the Inn and Restaurant, there isn't much retail besides a gas station, bank and real estate office.
