“Great for a quick stay”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Nice open field which was great for charging our solar. Clean site. Some road & train noise. We didn't need anything fancy. This fit the bill. We camped at Skykomish Ballpark in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Skykomish Ballpark
- Ray and Lisa Johnson This is in a perfect location to see Great Sand Dunes National Park, Zapata Falls, Creede (mining trails), Big Meadows Reservoir and Wolf Creek Pass/Continental Divide. Mexican restaurant within walking distance.6 months ago Aspen Ridge RV Park
- retiree19 There's a great tap house and pizzeria over on the road to Pagosa Springs. Conveniently enough it's called Mountain Pizza and Tap House. They have a large selection of beers both local, national and international. Check out their method of serving! I think it's pretty cool. Pizza is good too. Ramon's a little further down the road is good for Mexican Food. The town of Creede is worth a visit for sure. Turn right out of the campground and it's about 1/2 hour away. It's a nice old mining town with a great underground mining museum. The museum tour is short and cool both in an esthetic sense and temperature wise. It's cold enough in there that they have a rack of loaner coats for people to wear. I can't resist a mountain hardware store and Tomkins Hardware and Lumber fit the bill. I bought an extra pair of Channelocks and found out later they were over $5 cheaper than my local Home Depot. There are scenic attractions everywhere, including tons of waterfalls. We were there during the spring runoff so in high summer water flow will be reduced but they'll still be pretty.11 months ago Aspen Ridge RV Park

We were told about the Ballpark RV campground by the town and registered online to stay there. Dry camping only, although there is a community kitchen, which we did not use. Very level and well...

Tip for Other Campers:
No grocery stores for 30 miles so go in well-stocked. Go into town and enjoy the trains going through on the BNSF mainline. Very charming community with nice folks. They have a railroad camera you can watch. Google "Skykomish Train Cam" and you may fall in love with it!
