Tip for Other Campers:
The town of Leavenworth was a huge surprise, a Bavarian town that looks like it is in the alps. It has so many unusual places to see, restaurants and shops. We later learned its voted one of America's Best Bavarian towns. Allow plenty of time to see it!

Tip for Other Campers:
No grocery stores for 30 miles so go in well-stocked. Go into town and enjoy the trains going through on the BNSF mainline. Very charming community with nice folks. They have a railroad camera you can watch. Google "Skykomish Train Cam" and you may fall in love with it!
