Tips from campers about Seneca Rocks, WV
- JeannBob Hike up Seneca Rocks; go to the visitor center, too. Drive up to Spruce Knob. Only wifi in the area is at Yokum's; good selection of camping goods & souvenirs there. West Virginia products are available at Harper's Old Country Store - the maple syrup is delicious!1 year ago Seneca Shadows Campground
- Disco Dan There are ample places to trout fish close by. The short hike up to Seneca Rocks is a must do. Beautiful views once you get to the top that make it well worth it. There is a general store not too far from the campground that seemed to be pretty well stocked for basic camper needs. The Seneca Rocks visitor center is very nice and certainly worth stopping in. If youre looking for cell phone coverage, you can forget it, especially if you have T-Mobile, there is no cellular receptionbut then again, thats not really all that bad.2 years ago Seneca Shadows Campground
- Dale & Kathy Check out Yokum Stables for a Horseback ride to the top of Seneca Rocks. Spruce Knob, the highest peak in WV is a short drive and well worth it. Blackwater Falls State Park is also near and spectacular.2 years ago Seneca Shadows Campground
