“Not bad but work needs to be done ”
Nightly Rate: $69 USD
Sites are really close together, good electric and water pressure but sewer tube is WAY to high! We had to pull into a site with a lower tube and it was stilll uphill, unable to effectively dump and...

Stayed for 8 nights - full hookups. Every thing was fine - easy to find site, good space and shade (note newer sites do not have much shade) and clean facilities. Great location to explore northern...

Tips from campers about Beantown Campground
- thecurrys Check out Hampton Beach about 1/2 hour away (be prepared to pay for parking). Cider Hill Farm is a must-do for local bakery//cidery/farm market shopping and if in-season, fruit picking (peaches, strawberries, blueberries, apples, etc...). Our kids had a great time feeding the chickens and riding the horse tire-swings! For big box store shopping, Portsmouth, NH offers a variety of options.10 months ago Tuxbury Pond Campground

“Very pleasant stay near Bailey's Harbor”
Nightly Rate: $48 USD
Beantown is located within a short (1.5 mi.) bike ride to Bailey's Harbor. I thought the "tree area" of the campground was a little tight to put out a slide and awning. The sites are pretty narrow....

Tip for Other Campers:
Bailey's Harbor proclaims its on the "quiet" side (Lake side) of Door County. Quiet less traffic, tourist traps and noise at night. But BH has really nice restaurants, and events. Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Efriam, Egg Harbor are the other cities located on Bayside the with lots of events/Festivals.
“Great 7 day stay”
Nightly Rate: $63 USD
We had a "banana" site in the older section next to a open farmers field, it was a full hook up site with cable. First time staying at this campground, very nice large pool and well stocked camp...

Very quiet place to stay... Owners were helpful although when I was directed into my site (pull through), they watched as my camper went through some branches... Put 12 holes into my roof... They...

Tip for Other Campers:
Tried to go to Al Johnson's in Sister Bay to see the goats on the roof of this establishment... Saw the goats, but getting into the restaurant was virtually impossible. Total mob scene in this busy tourist town. Went to Washington Island via ferry for a day trip which was nice.
