There is a self-serve gas pump across the road behind the restaurant. The gas is cheaper there than most stations and they have high octane, ethanol-free gasoline.

Tip for Other Campers:
*There are gas pumps directly in front of motel/campground as well as a bar and grill but the restaurant seemed to be closed when we were there in Sept.*Wal-Mart, plenty of fast food options, a Culvers and a KwikStop for gas and plenty of ready made hot and dessert choices (way more extensive than those at Loves Truckstops) are all 11 minutes away back down...

Tips from campers about Country Villa Motel and Country Camping
- DrLewie The road leading to the causeway is narrow and twisty. A group of folks who live on that road are protesting planned addition of more campsites. They have signs up asking that the addition not be approved due to the increase of RVs on the road they fear would mean more traffic accidents. - Love At First Site The ride into Association Island is long. It passes along houses and summer cottages. Once you get past them you will get down to the water level. The road way is narrow but passable for RV's. It was about 25 minutes to Watertown where we found all the big chain stores and restaurants (Bestbuy, Longhorn, Texas Road House, etc.) We found The Zoo of NY there. It was smaller then traditional zoos but great for a quick trip to see animals like black bears, bald eagles and wolves to name a few.7 months ago Sun Outdoors Association Island

The Leinenkugel Brwery is a must see in Chippewa Falls. With a trip to the Leinie Lodge with all of the quality beers from Leinenkugel on tap, and merchandise for sale, it made for a great afternoon. The Sudds Hub laundromat in Chippewa Falls is GREAT. Very clean, with a clean bathroom, with lots of quality equipment at a reasonable price. It cost me $8.75...
