Tips from campers about Cora, WY
- kg4yjb I do not recommend going to this park if you are new to pulling a trailer of good size or operating a sizable Class A or B RV. The roads are small and can be difficult to maneuver. I would recommend if at all possible taking a trip if ever in Va Beach at one of the other RV campgrounds and go ride through First State and take a look around especially if you know your campsite numbers. We watched a fifth wheel trying to get into a 50 ft campsite , site 165 and due to the layout of the roads was very difficult getting into site. Some of the sites are mostly sand which will cause issue with sinking in or not able to get level. The sites I would recommend first, 1, 8 ,16, 24 ,143, 146, 151,155, 166, 194,201 Sites that are do-able but have minor issues 2, 7, 147,148,,161, 164,165, 175, 177, 178, 179, 181, 183, 188, 198, 199, 200, 202, 2054 years ago First Landing State Park

- Joerone Went to False Cape State Park for a nice 10 mile bike road...beautiful and serene. Also visited Yorktown, VA....site of The Battle of Yorktown and where George Washington negotiated and signed the terms of surrender with the british. Well worth the hour+ drive. Plenty of shopping in the area.3 days ago First Landing State Park
