Tips from campers about Daniel, WY
- kdralph Within short distance of Pinedale, Wind River Range4 years ago The Daniel Junction Motel & RV Park
- MissouriBird We spent a couple days in the Pinedale area, had our truck serviced while there and enjoyed exploring the Wind River wilderness area nearby, especially our drive to the far end of Fremont Lake, just north of Pinedale. Lots of ranches surround Pinedale and we were fortunate to see several ranchers moving their cattle down out of the Wind River range into winter pastures while we were in the area. The Visitor's Center in Pinedale supplied us with numerous maps and tips for seeing wildlife or getting into the back country. We heard many good things about the Mountain Man Rendezvous Museum in town which recognizes and honors the many authentic Mountain Men who gathered along the Green River just west of Pinedale for their annual fur-trading and social get together, known as a Rendezvous, each year. However, it was closed due to Covid. Pinedale has a new paved walking trail and park area that is home to several moose---we found it a great place to walk and relax.4 years ago The Daniel Junction Motel & RV Park
- Fixn2gocamp The Den restaurant was the nicest thing about this place. An oasis of pleasant environment, good food and service. Store is tight, cramped and crowded.7 years ago The Daniel Junction Motel & RV Park
