“A great experience”

We stayed at the Medicine Bow dispersed camping area, not the campground. Loved the spectacular rock formations. We camped at Vedauwoo Campground in a Truck Camper.

Hike the East and West Turtle trails through in the woods, with wildflowers of all colors lining the path, and the rock formations always in view. Take one of the sites in the campground for $20 per night or drive a ways down the gravel road to see what's available for free. Drive into Cheyenne to explore.
