Tip for Other Campers:
Take County Rd 255 (Sky Lake Rd.) at Sautee Nacoochee, off of Hwy. 17, to avoid tourist traffic in Helen. Road is suitable for big rigs, you'll be glad you did.

“Great Location”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
Site 44 in the woods. Level and spacious. Partial shade. We camped at Short Stay Navy Outdoor Recreation Area in a Motorhome.
“Hiking and Fishing”
Nightly Rate: $46 USD
Mostly shaded, good roads, very hilly. We camped at Georgia Mountain Fair Campground in a Motorhome.
