Question: Is there fishing a place where fishing is allowed?

Not at this location.I am not aware of any local fishing spots around Camp Tonkawa. I lived in the area from 1971-1975 attending Stephen F. Austin State University, and don't recall any good fishing spots around the area.... Although it was a long time ago. It will be HOT this time of year, so make sure your AC works and you have bug spray. The campground is pretty nice....
