There is an Aldi's in Rutland. The ferry from Charlotte, VT to Essex, NY is fun and Essex is a nice old town--bring your own food.

Park uphill on the Main st in Littleton and walk down to the stores. Take the freeway to get to grocery shopping, etc.
This park looks good till you get there. Park sign on Rte 2 is by a non-entrance road--confusing. The park "office" is the store's checkout counter--had to wait 15 min for sales to be handled. Then...

Tip for Other Campers:
The bakery in Abbot is expensive and I didn't like either of the pastries I got there. I was surprized to find that the grocery stores up there were comparable to city stores.
