Tip for Other Campers:
There are two gas station / curio stores across the highway which we used both time to fill up on gas each morning as we left, pricing wasn't too bad for being right on the highway.

Quiet park and fine for a day or two. We stayed one night just passing through. Good to stay for seeing the White Sands. We camped at Alamogordo/ White Sands KOA in a Motorhome.
