It's a very educational experience for kids and adults. It's best to be stocked up on basic supplies before going there, but there is a couple stores nearby for souvenir and snack shopping.

The local businesses are very helpful and friendly. The chain restaurants and stores are about 20 - 30 minutes away (Applebee's, Cracker Barrel, Panda Express, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, etc )

Tip for Other Campers:
There is a small dog park that does get used often. There's a large, beautiful casino close by, lots of shopping and restaurants/bars, also nearby. Great hiking trails up into the Sandia mountains and historic attractions and sites, all within just a few miles of the RV park.
