Tip for Other Campers:
The park is within walking distance of the town of Mancos that has a great bakery/cafe and some nice galleries and shops. It's located between Cortez and Durango very close to Mesa Verde National Park. I strongly recommend a visit to the park and a loop drive up to Telluride down to Ouray, Silverton and Duango then back to Mancos. Dinner at the Metate Room...
