Hint: if coming from the west on US-160, take the business exit. Even though it will take you through town, if you wait until the business 160 exit on the far side of town, the turn is a hairpin that our 36' gas coach was not able to make without backing up. Friendly staff, clean campground and the sites had ample space. Mancos is a cute town with beautiful scenery. We camped at Riverwood RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about Riverwood RV Resort
- MariahSir514 The park is within walking distance of the town of Mancos that has a great bakery/cafe and some nice galleries and shops. It's located between Cortez and Durango very close to Mesa Verde National Park. I strongly recommend a visit to the park and a loop drive up to Telluride down to Ouray, Silverton and Duango then back to Mancos. - Flying RVers Hint: if coming from the west on US-160, take the business exit. Even though it will take you through town, if you wait until the business 160 exit on the far side of town, the turn is a hairpin that our 36' gas coach was not able to make without backing up. Mesa Verde National Park is just a short drive away. Short and easy walk to town, which has a few restaurants, a cidery, a bakery, and a coffee shop. Tip for Other Campers:
Down town has several restaurants and shops within walking distance from Roverwood.
One gas station with diesel is pretty tight to get into and not big rig friendly. There's also one small local grocery store so we went to Cortez for grocery shopping and diesel. Cortez is about 20 minutes away.

“Well maintained campground close to Mesa Verde and Durango”
Nightly Rate: $55 USD
Nice campground in near town of Mancos Co. Exceptionally clean restrooms with private showers. Nice laundry facilities and excellent utilities. We camped at Riverwood RV Resort in a Motorhome.
