No cable and the park WiFi is very weak. Bring your own...

Question: Trying to make reservations for March 2025. Web site will only let you go to the end of the year. I called and they told me in two to three months they would start taking reservations for 2025. But they fill up fast. Not very helpful if they fill up fast. Anybody know what month last year they opened 2024 for reservations?

Answer:

They don't fill up that fast. I've made reservations a month or two in advance and had no problems. By the way, since this park changed owners it's gone down hill. A lot of maintenance things are not being kept up like the security gates, mowing, painting, etc. With their new pricing it's no longer a 9.0 value park, more like a 8. Also don't make your reservations on line, call the park directly you'll save the online booking fee that is not disclosed....

Approximately 40 miles on I-10...

Question: How is internet/cell service out here? Good enough to work remotely?

Answer:

When we were there several years ago the cell service on both Verizon and AT&T was very weak and slow....
