Tip for Other Campers:
Cape North Lighthouse and Meat Cove are within 45 minutes but the last few kilometers are on gravel roads, a little difficult to navigate due to ruts in the road. We went to Pleasant Bay and ate at the Rusty Anchor, very good food, but service was slow because they were very busy.

Tip for Other Campers:
Mabou is very close and is a great place to shop, visit, and meet people. There is a waterfront park open to everyone. Celtic Shores Coastal Trail is very close by and is great for hiking or biking. The trail goes for miles. Port Hood beach is also very close and is a nice public beach. Check out West Mabou Provencial Park as well.

Tip for Other Campers:
Clinton is close to DC but far enough away to avoid a lot of the traffic. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Our Verizon service worked well at the campground. We were able to use our map to locate area locations for shopping and dining.
