Take the reservation policy with a grain of salt. Expect dogs to be off-leash. Don't plan on having a dog fence.

Watch for off-leash dogs. You might want to bring several 2x8 cutoffs so that your rig's stabilizers don't sink into the sand.

Well maintained campground with much to offer; clubhouse, dog park, walking areas, and very scenic. We camped at Pelican Roost RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

NEX and commissary are off-base and easy to miss; 5 stop lights south of the main gate and on the west side of the street.

One of our favorite places to camp. Loved the spaciousness and many biking/walking trails. We camped at Fort Yargo State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
