Question:
Tue Jan 21 2025Looking at the park map, it seems that the vast majority of the spaces have the door/awning side facing the West... Which means LOTS of SUN and heat... Any of the sites better than what I see from the park map? Thx...

I can only vouch for the site that we were on which I believe was 54. It's true that the sun could be an issue but we didn't find it prohibitive to having a good time. It's a GREAT park in a great area. Hopefully they have the sidewalk finished and you can walk/bike all the way to town....

The east road of the park is almost entirely oriented curbside-north. However, given that our awning is the best defense against desert heat, we find curbside-west slots the most ideal out here in Arizona....

We walked the park every morning and evening with our dogs, and it seems there were lots facing in all directions, depending on the row you were in. Our patio was on the east facing side which was glorious for the sunrise. We feel we had plenty of shade with our awning....
