Tip for Other Campers:
There is some much to do within 25 miles. Sedona, Camp Verde, Jerome, Cornville. Hiking and biking. There is a great local band scene in the area at small venues. Cottonwood has every manner of shops and stores that a person would need.

Old Town Cottonwood is a festive place. Lots of foodie places, plenty of micro brews and wine tasting. Tip for Other Campers:
We love how close this is to so many things to do! Jerome is just up the hill; Old Town Cottonwood has lots to see & places to eat. We ate at the Tavern Grill twice. Cool history of the area. And of course Sedona, Oak Creek, Flagstaff, & Prescott not far away.

Question:
Looking at the park map, it seems that the vast majority of the spaces have the door/awning side facing the West... Which means LOTS of SUN and heat... Any of the sites better than what I see from the park map? Thx...
