“Under construction, but still a very nice park.”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
We stay for a total of 16 days. We used it for a central place to venture out from. Close to food, fuel and sightseeing adventures. We camped at Mat Su Rv Park in a Fifth Wheel.

“Two night stay - Great Park with improvements on the way”

Two night stay and to be honest it was a great stop. This Park was destroyed in 2019 due to fire, then COV hit, so it was a few years before the owner could get back and start making repairs. Coupled...

- Sandy_485 Flying Squirrel bakery, but closed on Tues & Wed. Denali Brew pub. Rode the Alaska Railroad Hurricane Turn ride, the last flag stop train in North America. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride. The park was burned to the ground in 2019. In 2020 and 2021 he was locked out due to covid. 2022 to present he is rebuilding. He is a one man crew and has accomplished much in the short construction...

Unfortunately I just read that this campground was destroyed by a fire this month - August 2019....
