About a 7 mile drive into town. If you want to take the bus, there's a bus stop at the entrance to the park, but it's a one mile walk from the campground to there. Campground website says shuttle is not operating now. Doesn't appear to be a mask requirement on Charleston public transportation, so that's a risk. If you drive, consider parking on Concord Street, but beware of low hanging limbs, which are literally everywhere in Charleston....
