Tips from campers about Malakwa, BC
- RichRob The town of Scottsville is approximately a half mile away. There you will find several restaurants, a bakery, a few quaint shops, a bookstore/coffee shop and The James River Brewery.6 days ago Horseshoe Flats Campground
- S&J Rudd As others have stated, Charlottesville offers so much! Monticello is worth the money to visit, and if you can allocate an entire day here, all the better. We drove thru UVA also- so beautiful and a fun college town feel where everybody was walking to the football stadium. Trump Winery was also lovely, with 1000 flags posted on every fence post along the road.5 months ago Horseshoe Flats Campground
- RichRob Visit the homes of Presidents Jefferson and Monroe. Have dinner at Mitchie Tavern, a 1784 pub serving buffet style dinners. Visit one of the many wineries in the area. If craving for southern fried chicken or pizza, try take-out at GoCo Food Market located in a Valero gas station. Take a scenic ride through the Blue Mountains which has Shenandoah National Park.1 year ago Horseshoe Flats Campground
