Tips from campers about East Killingly, CT
- TMartinez Check out the white mountain nature center. Guided nature walk on Saturday morning at 8:30. 6 days a week at 3:00 there is a bird of prey demonstration that is fantastic! Get your tickets on their website. It's free now. But they will charge in the future. Totally worth it.6 months ago Woodside RV Resort
- Mike Andreula Try and get a corner spot near the back.7 months ago Woodside RV Resort
- CJS321 Some must sees in the area is the Raptor training at the White Mountain Nature Center. It's six days a week and you have to have tickets which you can get only online at the White Mountain Nature Center website. There is a great 1.1 mile paved track around Woodland Lake for an easy walk as well as several other more challenging trails near it. A must go to restaurant nearby is The Irish Colleen. It just opened July 4, 2024. The menu has both Irish and American cuisine. The Irish dishes are absolutely yummy and true to tradition. The full Irish breakfast (served all day) and the Shepards Pie are our favorites! Another great restaurant is Charlie Clarks Steakhouse. There are so many interesting menu items it was very hard to choose. Go before 4:00 pm for better prices. Moose Henri's and Pinetop Brewery are also highly recommended.7 months ago Woodside RV Resort
