- Barry and Paula The Campground is in a remote area of RI. Brigidos Market is on Route 6 and 15 minutes away. Nice market, a bit on the pricey side. Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence is a great day trip. The beaches of Narragansett are wonderful with lots of seafood dining options in the surrounding area. Georges of Galilee had delicious food with an ocean view. Newport is one hour away. Gorgeous water views from the Cliffwalk walking path. Or, take in a tour of a mansion or two.
