Primitive camping, nice large level spaces. Easy access to the lake. Great overall experience. We camped at Cottonwood Park Campground - Idaho Power Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Cottonwood Park Campground - Idaho Power Recreation Area

  • KcSoFL One issue with RV Life routing, it wanted to take us down a dead end road (Holcomb road) and come back out. Stay on Fodder to the campground if that's the way you are coming. Take it slow, lots of curves. 38' with toad.
  • AirRaceFan Call the campground on your way in... Google, RV Trip Wizard and others all run through some REALLY curvy roads with some really hard turns. I'm leaving a different way thanks to the great advise of the staff. Wonderful people. And... Waterfalls galore in this area. Enjoy!
  • LyndaandPaul We camp with 2 German Shepherds so we do a lot of hiking. We hiked Brasstown Bald Mountain. Awesome views; Chatuge Lake, Anna Ruby Falls, Jack Rabbit Trail and Tallulah Falls-which is not to miss. A bit crowded, but breathtaking! If you come in the beginning of October, don't miss the Georgia Mountain Fair. Also visited Hele for Oktoberfest.
