Tips from campers about Big Rock, IL
- BillCraig Don't rely on auto GPS to get you here or you will end up going down some less than easy country roads to get to the campground. Get onto state route 45 and follow GPS from there.2 years ago Prairie Pines Campground
- Doncooke Check out the interesting abandoned Chanute aircraft museum on the way to the park from Rantoul. Drive around back for more aircraft.7 years ago Prairie Pines Campground
- dalenoel Stores, shopping, and food are all close for all price ranges. Walmart and fast food was within a couple miles. Be aware when using a GPS in getting to the park it may take you on a tour around the old air force base and not directly to the campground. My phone worked better than the GPS.7 months ago Prairie Pines Campground
